Just as most of us have a cupboard in our kitchen, bath… or both… containing a wide variety of useful -- though perhaps not often needed – items, so it is that we should have a toolbox, tackle box or cupboard with items specifically for our alpacas and llamas. What is in the box or cupboard may vary from region to region such as items needed in treatment as the result of a poisonous snakebite or the use of BoSe or MuSe. You might consider to break your supplies into groupings: First Aid Kit, Cria Care Kit and General Supplies which would include items for progesterone testing and herd health maintenance. Many items are interchangeable and would be handy to include in each kit. Some items require refrigeration. Remember, the following is a general list of items useful in any region:
